Southwick Road, Glapthorn - 30 mph Speed Limit
North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Sections 82, 83, 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed exceeding 30 mph along that length of road as specified in the Schedule below:

Oundle Library re-opens October 2024
Oundle Library Is Open with reduced services
From Monday 30 September customers can come along during the usual opening times, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays to pick their own books and audiobooks again.
Library loans can now be returned. However, the grace period to return books is still in place and customers have until Thursday 31 October to return any outstanding loans.... Read More »

Parish Council Meeting and Public Meeting (Neighbourhood Plan) Wednesday October 16th 2024
A Public Meeting to discuss review and revision of the Glapthorn Neighbourhood Plan will take place at 7.00pm on Wednesday October 16th 2024 at Glapthorn Village Hall.
The meeting will be followed by a Parish Council Meeting at 8.00pm .

Road Closure Oundle Road, Glapthorn, November 25th 2024
TTRO 24/25 N463 - Oundle Road, Glapthorn
National Grid have requested a road closure on the above road to safely carry out mains extension works.
It is expected that the works will take 5 days and are due to commence on 25/11/24 – 29/11/24.
