Country Parks

To the west south of nearby Oundle you will find Barnwell Country Park.

There is plenty of open countryside around Glapthorn which is easily accessed by a number of footpaths and bridleways.

To the north are two well known and interesting nature reserves - Short Wood and Southwick Wood and Glapthorn Cow Pastures.
